Already trusted on global stages, AGITO Gen 2 now brings new precision, performance and versatility to the Middle East’s growing live, broadcast and sports market.

Motion Impossible, Bristol, UK, 2 May – After supporting major productions like the CAF Champions League Final and the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia, Motion Impossible’s AGITO system has firmly established itself as the go-to solution for dynamic, stabilised camera movement across the Middle East’s fast-evolving production landscape.

Now, at CABSAT 2025, Motion Impossible is partnering with Cineom (Stand AR-E10) to introduce the region to AGITO Gen 2: the next evolution of the much-loved remote-controlled robotic camera dolly. Purpose-built for the demands of live, broadcast and sports, AGITO Gen 2 transforms how crews move – delivering faster setups, smarter control and more creative freedom, all without the overhead of big teams or complex infrastructure.

Visitors can experience AGITO Gen 2 in action, running live with two key modular upgrades:

• MagTrax: a magnetic sensor add-on that allows AGITO to detect and follow magnetic tape laid directly on the ground or beneath carpets and staging, delivering precise, repeatable movement without the need for traditional track. Tape can be installed in straight lines, curves or fully custom paths, providing flexible route planning with minimal setup. Ideal for any production requiring consistent, wireless stabilised movement.

• The Column: a robust, silent vertical lifter that supports payloads up to 45kg (100lb). Unlike its predecessor, the AGITO Tower, the Column accommodates underslung setups, offers smooth height transitions without gas struts and enables super low-angle movement with lighter gimbals. Its rigid build also makes it suitable for non-stabilised heads in studio and overhead rail setups – all while operating silently, even in sound-sensitive environments.

What Gen 2 brings:

AGITO Gen 2 retains the versatility and remote operation that made the original a favourite, but introduces significant upgrades, including:

• Improved low-speed control for smoother, precise handling.

• Tighter turning radius for enhanced manoeuvrability.

• IP54 weather resistance for outdoor and unpredictable conditions.

• Silent drive and steering for audio-critical productions.

• Upgraded motor control for greater consistency, smoother acceleration and reactive handling.

• Ethernet connectivity for remote operation anywhere in the world.

• Expanded I/O and onboard telemetry for more data, more control and easier integration with advanced broadcast or studio workflows.

• Refined braking and steering for greater precision across all movement speeds.

• New Master Controller featuring ergonomic grips, larger screen, realtime IMU feedback and a built-in rocker switch for vertical lifters.

AGITO Gen 2 isn’t just evolving how productions move – it’s expanding who can move the camera, how quickly they can work and where creativity can go next.

“AGITO has already helped crews deliver world-class coverage across the Middle East,” said Rob Drewett, co-founder and CEO at Motion Impossible. “With Gen 2, we’re building on that momentum – enhancing the way productions operate, adapt and innovate. We’re proud to bring that evolution to CABSAT, alongside our partners at Cineom.”
