British Innovation Leads the Way at IBC2025

16 July 2025: GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland Pavilions across IBC2025 (12–15 September, RAI Amsterdam) feature a remarkable 34 companies, each providing unique, innovative and practical solutions to the key issues in media technology. This year there are pavilions in halls 1, 6, 7 and 8, and independently in 5 and 10.

Creating these pavilions, and empowering the exhibitors for sales success, is specialist services company Tradefair. They build the infrastructure, deliver shared services, and provide hands-on support before and during the show, ensuring each exhibitor can focus on showcasing their innovations and connecting with global customers.

Ad Signal’s (6.C28b) suite of SaaS products enables media businesses to understand and take control of their content. Aqua Broadcast (8.B77e) uses innovative design and advanced engineering in its Cobalt FM transmitters and audio processors. Badger Media (1.C37i) replaces legacy labelling with a software-defined identification layer, delivering clarity at the physical edge of digital infrastructure in broadcast, telecoms and data centres. Big Pic Media (8.B77d) is a trusted resource for production, post-production and broadcast solutions, partnering with GrayMeta (8.B77i) to showcase QC tools Iris and Compar, and the SAMMA tape digitisation system.

Blue Lucy (6.C29a) brings fresh thinking, proven software and business-centric solutions to media management and workflow orchestration. Broadcast Radio (8.B77h) offers turnkey services for professional broadcasters, including software, installation, training and managed services. BW Broadcast (8.B77g) provides innovative, reliable and efficient transmitters and audio processors for radio stations. coralbay.tv (7.A09e) develops and implements cloud-native micro services solutions for playout and master control operations.

CRM.COM (1.C37f) redefines monetisation and subscriber retention with its advanced, cloud-hosted platforms. Custom Consoles (10.A42) has 30 years’ experience in the precision design and construction of specialist furniture for broadcast and related environments. Disk Archive Corporation (7.A09c) makes content archiving easy, secure and affordable with ALTO, the enterprise-class cold storage platform. Dizplai (1.C37) drives engagement, increases reach and connects audiences, delivering interactive experiences anywhere in the world.

Emotion Systems (6.C28a) develops software to streamline workflows in audio, delivering cost-efficient performance coupled with high-quality results. FilmLight (6.C19) is a world leader in colour grading and image processing for the highest quality post-production with reliability and performance. GB Labs (7.A09a) is a leader in intelligent, scalable shared storage to power and protect creative workflows, using advanced technology to speed media flows. Hitomi Broadcast (10.A40) is the global leader in precision measurement of circuit latency and lip-sync, speeding remote set-up and avoiding distracting errors without guesswork.

Imaginario AI (7.P46 / 7.P48) transforms content and archives by automatically recognising sounds, speech, visual scenes and timelines in a human manner. Kineton Europe (1.C37e) brings together innovation in media, IT, telecoms, automative and aerospace, optimising content creation and delivery. Mission Control (8.B77c) simplifies the licensing and implementation of RF links, from walkie-talkies and wireless microphones to cameras. Open Broadcast Systems (1.C37a) is revolutionising the provision of advanced broadcast technology, moving the industry towards a flexible, cost-efficient, software-driven future.

Ortana Media Group (1.C37h) offers a range of content-centric automation orchestration software, complete with a very broad range of APIs, ready for any media workflow. Radica Broadcast Systems (8.B77b) is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of broadcast radio transmission systems and services. Reuters News & Media (5.D44) brings Imagen, the trusted media management platform for news organisations to drive their live and archive content. RioVIDEO (1.C37d) develops and delivers high performance, cost-effective compression technology for television and media applications. QScan (7.P42 / 7.P44) brings everything you need to automate media quality control, with unparalleled clarity and interactivity.

Salsa Sound (8.B77f) automates, streamlines and enhances live audio workflow, helping broadcasters create immersive sound to better engage with fans. Spectral Measurement (1.C37b) specialises in precision audio measurement, including transducer test chambers and production test automation. Starfish Technologies (1.C37j) is a world leader in transport stream splicing and processing, advertising insertion and localisation, video description technology and other innovative processing solutions. TransMedia Dynamics (7.A09b) simplifies how broadcasters and media enterprises secure and manage content through tailored, seamless workflows.

Trint (1.C37c) makes it simple to turn interviews and complex live events into articles, podcasts and videos, using AI to transcribe, translate and collaborate. Verbit (6.C29b) applies verbal intelligence, making words work through captioning, dubbing, translation and audio description. Yospace (5.C78) focuses on server-side ad insertion, delivering huge numbers of commercial spots while maintaining the best possible user experience, reliably and at scale. Yotta Media (1.C37g) is trusted by the world’s leading television operators and consumer electronics manufacturers to provide bespoke, scalable solutions.
